More than twenty years ago, Patricia Lockwood is robbed in the story of her father's house and spends several months in a remote cabin. He escapes, but neither the culprit nor the items stolen that night are found.
Until a body is found in an apartment in the Upper West Side, and next to it, two valuable items are seen: the missing painting by Fermire and a leather suitcase with the logo of W.H.L.3. For the first time in years, the police get a clue; Now not only can they go to Patricia's case, but one of the old FBI cases also comes into the middle. Because that suitcase and the sign draw everyone's attention to one person.
Winsorhorn Lockwood III, aka Wayne, wonders how his suitcase and this family painting got into the hands of this dead man. But he finds out that the man who stole his cousin years ago was also involved in a terrorist incident. The two cases have baffled the FBI for decades, but unlike the police, Wayne has three special qualities: a personal connection to the case, great wealth, and a unique color for justice.
